CJPME is pleased to invite you to a lecture in Edmonton, Thursday, Jan. 19 by author and academic Tariq Ramadan. Prof. Ramadan's talk is entitled, "Creating Thriving Societies in Troubling Times." Join us, as Ramadan delivers a political talk which centers on the upheavals facing the Middle East and the West: e.g. the shifting alliances, the East-West perceptions, the international terrorism, the ongoing conflicts, the massive refugee movements, etc.

Ramadan's address will be followed by a Q&A period.

This event is co-sponsored by the ECMC Chair in Islamic Studies and Department of Political Science, University of Alberta.
