Ken lived his life always seeking peaceful resolutions to interpersonal conflict, including those between social and political entities. Coming from a long Jewish ancestry, he and his family made a point of taking courses and generally studying the questions of “whose promised land?” and what are plausible pathways to and forms of justice and dignity for Palestinians and Jews living in the land now called Israel and the Occupied Territories. He was a long-time supporter of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East.
