Gideon Levy - Israeli Elections: What next for Israel-Palestine? - March 2015

With its local partners, CJPME is delighted to host Israeli author and journalist Gideon Levy for an eight-city tour, March 22 - 29, 2015. Levy — a journalist with Haaretz since 1982 — will talk about the Palestine-Israel conflict in light of the March 17 Israeli elections in his talk entitled: "Israeli Elections: What next for Israel-Palestine?" Levy is a strong critic of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians and a strong supporter of the boycott of Israel. Levy has also questioned the viability of the “two-state solution.” Each lecture will be followed by a Q&A period. This series of events is co-sponsored with several organizations across the country; please see the individual events for co-sponsoring organizations.

We’re right here. We humans are a pretty straightforward bunch, but it often takes us a while to figure things out. There are always some of our kind who will want war and fighting, but we’ve discovered that the best way to beat them is to find more people who want peace. I have asked for resume writing. That’s what we’re doing right now.
