More than two weeks after Israel's collective punishment against the Palestinians of Gaza began, the Canadian government still refuses to call for a ceasefire.  While every day brings news of Israel's bombing of Gaza hospitals, Israel's destruction of Gaza schools and buildings, and Israel's blocking of humanitarian aid, our politicians prate on as if it's about Israel's "self defence" and not about Israeli genocide.  If the tens of thousands of messages we've sent to our "leaders" haven't been noticed, then it's time to call them up at their offices!  

Use our NEW CALL TOOL BELOW to get connected via phone to your local MP, and have talking points on screen that you can explain to them. Canada MUST support a ceasefire, and MUST take action to avert a genocidal rampage against Palestinians.

Tips for using our tool:

• You don’t need to be an expert to call your MP. You just need to be respectful and speak from the heart. Remember your MP might not be available. You might speak to an assistant or have to leave a message. Just keep it short and sweet. Remember to leave your name and number and let them know you are a constituent.
• When you use this tool, although you can do it with only your cellphone, it's best to use two devices: your computer and a phone. It's best to enter your information (below) on a computer and have a phone handy for the call.

This is how it works:

• Fill out the fields below, so our tool has the information that it needs.
• Once you hit the MAKE THE CALL button, suggested talking points will appear on the screen.
• The tool will first call your phone.
• Once you're on the line, the tool will next dial your MP based on your address. 
• You will hear the ringing once it connects, and you will likely get either voicemail, or an office staffer.  If you get an office staffer, you can ask to speak to the MP.  If the MP is available, state your concerns to them, if they’re unavailable, state your concerns to the staffer.  If voicemail, take 30 seconds to leave your concerns on voicemail.
• Remember that suggested talking points are displayed on screen during the call.
• When the call ends, you’ll see a screen that allows you to leave notes.  Type any notes that would be useful for follow-up by our staff.
