Reunite Palestinian Families Now

It has been over 20 months since Canada committed to evacuating 5000 family members of Palestinian Canadians under the Gaza Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) Special Measures for Extended Family Program.

For almost two years, Palestinians in Canada have gone through stress, hardship, and loss, watching their loved ones endure unspeakable violence. Thousands have been subjected to invasive security screenings, forced separation, and rampant anti-Palestinian racism because of this program. Palestinians and allies alike have shared their stories of pain and indignity continually, and still thousands of families wait for reunification in agony.

This is not a policy debate — it is a matter of life and death. Canada cannot claim to stand for human rights and equality while it abandons Palestinian families to die while endlessly waiting for visas.

We are asking you to call on your leaders to live up to their commitment by sending an email to the Ministers of Immigration, Foreign Affairs, and Public Safety demanding that they immediately take tangible steps to open an evacuation corridor, humanize application requirements, and establish a long-term immigration stream for Palestinian families.
