Plz Support Palestinian Human Rights Activist

B’nai Brith is calling the NDP to drop their candidate for Ville Saint-Laurent, Ms. Miranda Gallo, because of her activism for Palestinian human rights. Gallo has been an employee with CJPME since 2017 and has been a powerful voice for Palestinian human rights for years. B’nai Brith has attacked Gallo primarily for her support for BDS: the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement pressuring Israel to respect Palestinian human rights. I Remember January 29th

On Jan. 29, 2017, a lone gunman entered a mosque in Quebec City and opened fire on dozens of Muslim-Canadian worshipers.  By the time the shooting had ended, six had been tragically killed, and 19 more injured.   Join us in calling on the Canadian government to designate January 29 as a National Day of Remembrance and Action on Islamophobia. Support CUPW Against B’nai Brith’s Smear Campaign

Earlier this week, B’nai Brith Canada launched a smear campaign against the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), accusing the union of both supporting terrorism and aligning itself with “the path of violence and extremism.” This accusation comes amidst a CUPW decision to engage in a joint project with the Palestinian Postal Service Workers Union (PSWU), which B’nai Brith is smearing as a “pro-terrorist” organization.  But let’s be honest, the CUPW is under attack simply for showing solidarity with Palestinians.   Continue reading
